Chuck Wagner Memorial Campership
This campership is in memory of Charles Donald Wagner who was born February 16, 1955 and passed into peace with our heavenly father on May 25, 2017.
Growing up in Greensburg, Chuck was a member of Trinity UCC and spent at least one week a summer at Living Waters. He loved his time at Living Waters and it allowed him to participate equally with other youth even with his congenital heart defect. Camp was a place where Chuck could have fellowship with other youth from all over and share life experiences that deepened his spiritual growth in Jesus Christ. Chuck was an active member of Trinity UCC’s youth group and in the late 60’s and early 70’s, the youth group would take long weekend retreats to camp, where Chuck and the other members of the group would spend a weekend of fun, Christian fellowship and Biblical learning at the “Big White House” growing deeper in his faith.
Upon his passing, knowing how much Chuck loved his time and experiences at Living Waters, and how much it was a foundation in conjunction with his Christian upbringing at Trinity UCC, his sister, Cathy (Wagner) Aitken, and brother, Edward Wagner II, felt led by the spirit to provide funding through his memorial campership for other youth to benefit from Camp Living Waters and cannot afford the tuition.
A non-refundable application fee, payable to Living Waters of $20 will be required for each campership candidate as well as a written statement of need.
The purpose of this campership is to promote Christian experiences for youth, through biblical teachings by the staff, and through fellowship of other youth believers for campers that otherwise may not be able to attend due to financial difficulty.
* Applications for the Chuck Wagner Memorial Scholarship are due June 1.

If we are to teach real peace in this world, and if we are to carry on a real war against war, we shall have to begin with the children.
Mohandas Gandhi
In late 2014, the camp embarked on a new campaign to make camp more affordable for children to attend. This resulted in us lowing our camp cost from $350 to $300 for a full week of camp. All children should have the opportunity to attend camp and with many families struggling, it is our goal to make camp an affordable choice. It is not too late to support this campaign. If your church does not have children to attend camp, with the lower cost you can start a campaign of your own to support children in your community that would benefit from camp. For campers, invite a friend that you think would enjoy camp. You love it, why not share it!
Thank you to those that have already pledged support.
